Yep. I predicted they would do this dance too long and wind up in this sad situation. Lucky for them, the UK market will buy anything (just ask David Haye) and they can still sell some seats there.

Boxing fans prefer champions dominant in their own division that challenge themselves eventually. Yet here we have people like yourself giving credit to someone who got pummeled and broken for what remains to be his biggest payday after facing nobody of note in his own division. All this when he had a mandatory in waiting. When he was quick to face Jo Jo Dan, Bizier...we all saw what happened. Took the L. Used weight as an excuse. You lapped it up. Had no meal tickets left other than the belt he held. FORCED to face his mandatory. QUIT.

As far as I can tell anyone who supports Kell Brook is a complete nob jockey just like him who rates him for reasons unrelated to boxing.
Well to be fair it's not like these guys have alot of skills outside boxing..they got to make a career out of it and get set, for the rest of their lives.. in Brook's case for example, say he hadn't ducked that title shot vs Bradley that came early. If Bradley whooped him (which was likely), the big money would've never came. And the same fans that are ****ting on him now, would have done it way back then when it could've happend. Only practicle difference would be Brook would have a lot less money and never been a champ. So I'd say he was managed brilliantly by Hearn. As opposed to say Peterson for example. I mean , they drop a title and a gaurenteed shot vs the unified champ to face the killer of the division

You have to respect Brook for taking big fights, he took on GGG for Christ's sake and made the mandatory before those orbital bone injuries happened. I don't think anyone on a keyboard writing on a boxing forum has a right to criticise Kell. Unless you have broken your orbital bone you should probably just STFU. If he goes to 154 I will be keen to see how he goes he is still young and can definitely box.

Brook didn't turn out to be as good as I thought he was. He seems to be a front runner without much gameness. He doesn't deserve a huge fight after being KOed twice in a row. He needs to prove himself at 154 if he can before he can demand huge fights. Khan would be a huge fight but Khan wants none of it especially at 154 pounds.

                154 is a lifeless division.
You won't believe the top fighters hadn't face each other after all these years.
Lara vs Charlo is not even planned.
The anticipated Lara vs Andrade just died an instant death when the opportunity to make it came.
The corrupt sanctioning bodies let the Gausha fight happen instead.
                It's a pathetic division.

thank you to De la Hoya

Everybody should thank de la hoya and Canelo for destroying that division, creating their own ****ty catchweight
