What else would you suggest might motivate someone to say Stiverne took a dive against wilder? You know how things work around here...don't pretend like you don't know.

umm one reason someone might say striverne took a dive because a severly dehydrated stirverene who was hosptialized for severe dydration for the wilder 1 fight put up a good fight against wilder and ate shots, this stirverne first punch and he fell like a sac of bricks and the other kd was all hit on the gloves so maybe thats one reason they calling it a dive.

sure...but coming in unprepared is different than losing on purpose. if someone was going to lose on purpose, why would they unnecessarily subject themselves to the possibility of permanent injury by letting their chin get smashed? most of the posts I read about stiverne diving were from the usual clowns who refuse to give wilder any credit...like criticizing him for fighting stiverne in the first place wasn't enough, and they had to discredit him for doing what he was supposed to. I'm sure there's some fools out there who aren't wilder haters who think the dive theory is plausible...but that's not who I was addressing.
