If it's the money he wants, he will probably take the Kovalev fight, but i'm fine with either fight. They both sound good to me.

I saw definite improvement in Kovo's overall ring presence last night. Seemed more focused at the job at hand than the build up and usual distractions associated with a come back fight. Albeit this was a glorified tune up bout. This may indeed be a second phase of his boxing career. How he handles this is all up to him. With a new trainer and support staff behind him, perhaps a real positive change is headed his way. Time will only tell. If he boxes with the same intensity or even moreso against Berrera or whoever climbs into the ring with him next, I think we will all see a much hungrier and more motivated Kovo than we have seen in the past. Who knows, in 18 months, we may get a Ward/Kovo III should Ward decide to return to the ring.
