Crazy thing about the list, is many of them weren't exactly new then, but only just retired recently, 10 YEARS later.
I think it's the money. Was BHop really proving anything when he reverted to a smash and grab style? What that sport or entertainment? No. It was about not being able to turn down the money. Pac has been going through the motions for a while now, despite having a rich life outside of boxing, because the money is too good to pass up.
Mayweather came back for the money.
    Winky came back briefly.

Respect to Joe Calzaghe for knowing when to hang them up and not coming back for the bonus check.

marquez at 3? both calzaghe and hopkins should've been higher than him

having said that, its not as bad as ring lists which have had various times included guerrero and broner lol
Márquez was way better than Calzaghe, Márquez is in another league in history.

Only with B Hop is debatible

Again, reflects the ******ity of the ring, which I believe still has Fury as their champ lol

What a joke publication it has become in terms of rankings.

Marquez best win was an almost shot Barrera and he had 0-1-1 with his greatest rival. Not to mention a loss to John only a year or so earlier.

Calzaghe had unified his division, been a champion for a decade and beaten the best prime opponents his division had to offer and done so mostly with ease.

Both Calzaghe had HOpkins were higher up in 2007, there is no discussion for it.

Jajajajajaja Márquez win over Pac is better than all the career of calzaghe.

Nobody in the world put Calzaghe higher than Márquez in a list.

And that fight vs John was a huge robbery

That's not still what it is?

                  ****, time flies.

I remember how weird it was seeing a list like that without DLH on it for the first time.

You mean to tell me that #5 P4P Joe Calzaghe beat #4 P4P Bernard Hopkins?
