    Kovalev vs. Shabranskyy Fight Photos Gallery - Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev regained his WBO Light Heavyweight World Title in classic Krusher fashion with a second round stoppage of Vyacheslav Shabranskyy at the Theater at Madison Square Garden and live on HBO World Championship Boxing. Kovalev came out of the gates swinging, knocking down Shabranskyy twice in the first round. The second round continued with more hard shots from The Krusher and a third knockdown. Finally, at 2:36 of the second round, the referee called a halt to the action and Kovalev was named the new WBO champ.

          Kovalev is part of what boxing's about for me, not gaying up the ring, a skilled boxer puncher who doesn't duck and just wants to test himself.

                      Well he had the heart, just didn’t have the skill and chin. Eating those right hands flush, won’t matter how much heart a fighter has.

                                  His opponent was Taylor made just like Max said at the beginning of the fight but his opponent made kovalev lose balance from a jab & landed shots on kovalev that he wouldn't of got hit with pre Ward. Kovalev might be in trouble against a GOOD opponent.

                                      So Ward would have gotten rid of Slava in under two rounds?
