Who would you like to see Kovalev fight next?

That was a nice comeback fight to regain confidence, But what top fighters should he be looking to face in 2018? I would love to see Barrera get his shot next as he should have been the one fighting Kovalev last night.

Should Kovalev win that match I would love to see him face Beterbiev and end the year off with Stevenson. There are interesting match ups at 175 at the moment and I want to see who comes out on top in this new era.

In a perfect world, he fights Stevenson next, but the world isn't perfect.

Given what we've got, it'd make for the best fight if he fought Sullivan Barrera next, before fighting Bivol in the late Spring/early summer.

Kovalev and Bivol are calling for WBSS in the division, I wouldnt mind seeing the main contenders in the division being kept apart if we get it in October.

Stevenson obviously but Kovs team dropped the ball on that one and some 2 years later, Stev doesnt really look like he wants to box much anymore.

So the next logical fights are either Barrera or Bet, although Id prefer the latter and for Barrera to rematch Valera.

Unification Bout should be next with one of the other Champions for sure. The winner of Bivol vs Barrera, Beterbiev or Stevenson should be next!

I would most like him to fight Andre Ward if Ward returned to the ring. I am sick of hearing how Ward ruined him and made him quit. I am sick of hearing how Ward took his heart and soul. I never saw him quit and I don't think Ward ruined him. I think he would beat Ward in a third fight. Among active light heavyweights Stevenson would by my 1st choice for Kovalev to fight next. Beterbiev would be my 2nd choice and Barrera 3rd. I have yet to see Gvozdyk fight so he might be a top choice. I think Bivol can beat any light heavyweight so I would like Crusher to enjoy being champ a while before losing to Bivol. Light heavyweight is a great weight class now and all current 168 pound boxers better stay there or get beat.

In a perfect world, the fights I'd love to see for an undisputed champ:

Hbo side would be Kovalev-gvozdyk and Bivol-barrera. Winners then fight each other.

Pbc side I'd like stevenson-alvarez and beterbiev-badou jack or marcus Brown. Again, winners face off next.

Then finally we'd have the unified wbo, wba champ from hbo in a showdown with the wbc, ibf champ from pbc.

Wishful thinking but that would be amazing. Lots of great matchup to be made at 175

Stevenson, Beterbiev or Gvozdyk are the fights I want. Stevenson becasue it's a good fight and I'd like to finally know which of them is better, Beterbiev to end his hype, and Gvozdyk because IMO he's the best in the division.
