It isn't sad and lame if it happens to be true. He beat Ward the first time and got robbed. He was even on points with Ward when the dumb ref stopped the fight and gave it to Ward on a TKO when he should have been giving Kovalev 5 minutes to recover from a pair of clearly very low blows. The ref later admitted he made a mistake after watching tapes of the ending. Ward did him no harm as his win tonight clearly showed. I wish Ward wasn't retired and would fight Kovalev again.

Kovalev doesn't really have enough fans. The guy is highly skilled. I knew that from the get go. Maybe more people should support him actually.

I'm a huge Ward fan, but Kovalev is the guy to beat in the division now.
