        Because the boxing PPV buyers for big show events are mostly made up of occasional fans and only entertainers bring these fans out of the woodwork. frankly Conor is the best entertainer in fight sports right now, forget skills, he knows how to build a fight and people get out their wallets it’s that simple

          He's the biggest star in boxing because he's the most entertaining and because McGregor - Mayweather is still fresh in everyone's minds. Doesn't hurt that the fight and the build up was an absolute freak show.

          Let's face it, McGregors face and name are more recognizable to the general public than 99% of boxers today. Also add to the fact that top boxers keep on calling out his name.

            There is still some meat on those bones, easiest payday for any top 15 boxer from 147-168 who can lure him in. Floyd created an illusion Spence, Canelo or GGG would have destroyed him inside of 3 rounds max.
