  • How Do You “Gas Out” Landing More power shots going 12?

In theory, if you are gassed, you perform less in performance going the late rounds?

In Nelo’s case, when history passes, boxing fans will be in awe of Nelo’s performance in the late rounds.

People said ”How can Nelo last agaisnt Lil’G having gained more mass?”.

So Canelo plays his part doing more explosive shots than GGg and everybody says he gassed...

Nelo just fought the “#1 Middleweight beast” which is a heavier bag than all his opponents, so of course he has to exert more firepower to hurt Golovkin

But Ironically Golovkin does the opposite of what he was sold to be, “I will be monster this fight” yet abandons that strategy and uses some lazy jab and gets praised, never going for broke...

    Hypocrites.

Nelo takes a little more breaks during rounds than some other fighters.Everyone knows this I would not say he has bad stamina but its DEFF not a strong point of his.

He’s really a master at conserving the stamina he does have. Some of his most dominant rounds against Golovkin were the late rounds. And he was moving a lot of the fight. Canelos good.

Canelo performed less, throughout most of the match. During the championship rounds, besides the 12th, he fought harder for the first minute, than he did the first minute in nearly every other round, but that's it. He still got walked down onto the ropes for like the remaining 2 minutes.

I've just watched the championship rounds again. Canelo fought in spots, but still got walked down in rounds 10 & 11. Canelo actually tried to win in round 12, and gave GGG everything he had left. GGG ate everything, and continued pressing the fight. If that's awe-inspiring to you, you don't have very high standards for boxing performances.

Canelo did land flashy shots, but they were few and far between. GGG did most of the work for most of the fight, because Canelo was so tired that he was laying on the ropes and clinching.

Golovkin applied pressure, like he usually does. Canelo was the one walking from one side of the ring, to another. Again, Canelo landed some clean shots, but they were few and far between. Golovkin's jab was far from lazy. It pushed Canelo back for most of the fight. If anybody was lazy, it was Canelo. He was laying on the ropes for the majority of the 3 minutes for most of these rounds. Dude was so tired, that he was even slumped on his stool during a break. You don't even seem like you're trying to be objective.

you don't get points walking guys down when you don't throw. Name a fighter that Lil'G walked down and didnT return firepower on the backfoot?

the sequence of walking guys down is to extert a jab and followup with your hard punches, that's how you apply effective aggression. Canelo doesn't move in circles defensively like Khan and Lara, so his strategy against GGG, the harder hitter, was to go towards the ropes because that's where he fought best. The accumulation of Nelo's return is counted for. it doesn't matter how its perceived by fanboys, it's how its scored by judges.

If Nelo never returned firepower on Gennady's aggression then the Lil'G fanboys would have something to talk about.

Unfortunately for Canelo the rally in the late rounds was better than what he did in the middle rounds but he still lost most of them.

then you're justifying Trella's and Moretti's score cards. If Byrd was setup, yet keep in mind Lil'G fans say judges as in plural, then all she had to do was guarantee a close card for Alvarez since the other two had its plan, it's still inevitably a DRAW. This wasnt a Murata vs N'Dam 1 type of fight or a Lara vs Williams bout.

Byrd was dead center, and Nelo's compubox alone exempts Byrd's card. Do I agree for it that wide, no, I'm fine with the DRAW as I'm curious what these two will do to get the KO.

But for Lİl'G fans to say ''Nelo lost and you know it'' is classic #48 kids talking dumb shıt on this forum like when Marquez KO'd Pac they cried roids regardless if Pac was one them too

Yeah but when he got to the ropes he had to do something to catch the judges attention. He did very little. He gave away rounds. Canelo has to smarten up for the next fight. He may not be so lucky with the judges next time.

you see, you guys don't give up to give Alvarez the credit and you guys shame the sweet science.

so you say ''very little'' yet FFS Nelo had more power punches the Gennady Grenadovich Golovkin...

no wait, he gassed out, that's why he had more punches...

                    ''he did very little.''

you do realize Lil'G guys combine excuses and inconsitency rather frequently
