I totally get where BJS is coming from, at the end of the day Jacobs lost that fight. But he seems to have won a moral victory because he wasn't stopped. I don't like it when a loss his celebrated like a victory unless that loss was a result from a plain robbery.

Are you tired of Saundes bringing it up? Because that's what the article is about.

Ironic really. Saunders has had plenty of bad wins, but Jacobs loss against GGG is better than any of them.

Canelo avoided ggg for almost 2 yrs & the perception was that he was scared. When he fought 12 competitive rounds with ggg, he got credit. At the end of the day, brook was stopped, jacobs lost & canelo got in the eyes of most, a generous draw.

Most ggg fans arnt real boxing fans, their casuals that spend most their lives on this site.

Thats why when ggg tries to outbox fighters like jacobs/Lemeuix you all praise it as his supposed supreme amateur skills on display.

U all were claiming canelo w lead feet would get outboxed, your exact words were that "your crazy if u think hell fight canelo like he did brook, hell outbox & outjab him like lemule keep his distance"

Then when big red outboxed him & made him look amatuerish while disarming him so ggg was landing only single arm jabs & occasionally head jabs/single power shots all night, only 8 body shots in 12 rds ffs,& missing the wors te in his career ever, suddenly the gameplan u claimed ggg would school nelo with became "running" as soon as he got schooled w it.

I predicted exactly how the fight would go as far as GGG getting outboxed when "cement feet nelo was supposedly "gonna have nowhere to run".

Ggg vs Jacobs was a razor close fight only because of the knockdown imo. Otherwise ggg got outboxed by jacobs who landed more power shots total & in 9 individual rds, higher accuracy, way more combos & mostly all eye catching shots. Ggg was headhunting after the 4th rd & look frustrated as can be like he wanted it to be over already. Unfil the Jacobs fight ggg had never looked so much like he lost,he wore it all over his face 4 EVERYONE to see. Ggg knew Jacobs was the better man that got unlucky 4 the flash kd.

Agreed Jacobs deed a good job in that fight, but not even close to winning it. GGG was the superior boxer not by a big margin, but it was clear he won the fight fair and square.... even with the weight disparity.
