Not Sheffield but close enough. I used to frequently go into Sheffield for the music scene in the mid to late 90's to around 2004-2005 pretty much every weekend. Think most northern folks know about the music that was coming out of Niche, Bar 101 etc. The music scene was amazing but that also attracted all the criminals and the drugs as we all know since Niche was shut down many times for knifings, gang fights, deals gone wrong, shootings etc.

Some would end up in Cactus after the fallout. The story goes a group of lads from Sheffield went from 101 to Cactus and bumped into Kell who said he just left Dempseys, gay bar, with a group of friends and was looking for sniff. He went into Cactus looking for sniff and was snitched on. Yardies absolutely do not take kindly to ****sexuals or men who participate in ****sexual activities at all. Kell being part Jamaican...well that should tell you the story. Jamaicans do not like "battymans" as they call them.

I don't even have a clue if any of these clubs are still around. I really do miss Niche and Bar 101 the most.
