Saldio was satisfied with the offer but according to Arum he was injured during training camp and they wouldn't give him the extra time he needed to get in shape, so they went with Marriaga instead.

I haven't followed all the more recent developments, but Salido mentioned he would be willing to face Loma in December, but Loma opted for Rigo instead. Salido then signed to face Berchelt in another tough battle but that fight also fell through due to an injury (from Berchelt).

At any rate, Loma didn't prioritize the rematch for the longest time and hasn't really gone out of his way to make it even though he supposedly wants vindication.

Ok and I hardy pick fights wrong and I don’t see how the small old man survives at all and you don’t seem to know either you just want to see Loma lose, and that would only happen if he went up to fight Mikey or Crawford.

Yes Gary Russell who is also on his way up and would beat rigo and let’s not forget Walters the guy who beat rigos best win in more impressive fashion which btw is a much harder opp than the small rigo. Weight class means a lot at Lower weights like this Loma will bully him and drop him cause we all know rigos chin is fragile which is why his main focus is to avoid a exchange as much as possible.

If he is only 60 or 70% Salido is going to be way too much for the no defense Mickey Roman who has a propensity 2 do nothing but take punches... this guy is going to be walking on his heels not knowing where he's going in the next 10 years... he's very exciting but he's going to pay the price..

Depending on the weight Lomo could beat Mikey but never vs Bud Crawford...

Salido’s 37 and been through a rough career. He’ll be old any minute now. Don’t be surprised if it happens in this very next fight.
