His legs looked like they weren't there. It's as if he got caught with something big and never recovered, because some of those shots he was getting hit with weren't even landing cleanly and he was falling all over the place.
That's Winky at his absolute worse.

Now Winky has helluva defense, I just got done watch his 2nd fight with Shane Mosley about the only time Mosley actually connected clean was when Winky let himself get hit and it looked like he got rocked!!!

In my opinion, Shane did good offensively in that fight but he couldn't get out of the way of the jab. In round one I think he lands like a 4 punch combo on Winky, but Jim Lampley and company don't even acknowledge it.
But I agree with you, he's got a real good defense now. That shows that there's hope for anyone who has the will to be great...even Hoskins.

That fight was a lot closer than it should have been with five KD's.

Damb, and look at him now. If I saw that fight back then and you asked me that he was gonna be one of the most skilled fighters I would laugh in your face and say yeah right.

who was that he was fighting? i saw he lost a fight a while back which was the only time he lot a UD was in 1994, is this from that fight?
