Greedy promoters and management are starting to realise the show is nearly over.
Cash out time. Have some respect. Take 70/30. No Heavyweight makes AJ money right now.

I was sort of warming to Higgins' reasons for 35% being that mando's get 30% and it is a unification fight. I was starting to get on board with Parker getting that little bit more, even if I thought it was a tad more than he deserved and then he made it clear that it wasn't just 35% of the purse but, it was 35% of THE WHOLE DAMN POT. At that point he lost me all over again and I can't help but feel like the greedy one's now are Duco.

They've been talking about percentages of total revenue the entire time. Higgins did make that clear long ago when the negotiations first came to light.

If they fight hard, they might be able to get 32 or 33%. 35 isn't going to happen, but they're not going to cave and take 30 when they know they can get a little more.

A WBC mandatory gets 30%. They're not going to take 30% for a heavyweight unification between two unbeatens. They can make money with that belt for years to come. If AJ wants the belt, the compromise is going to have to be somewhere in between 30 and 35.

                This is massive dog s h i t.

Since when do $15 million dollar fighters pay no namers this kind of money? Belt or no belt. It never happens unless they have the commercial value to justify it.

They can make $1 million a fight for the next 2-3 years, if Parker keeps winning that is (big IF). Or he can make that in one night even if it was only 25% of the pot.

Why is it that other recent cash cows, ie. Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo can pay belt holders less than 10% in certain cases, yet Joshua has to give 1/3 of the total pot to fighters who normally make 10 or 15 times less than him?

If he was such a no namer, AJ wouldn't be so interested in fighting him. The bottom line is that Parker is an undefeated world heavyweight champion that AJ likely beats easily.

If he wants that belt, if he wants his 0, he's gonna have to pay him more than a mandatory.

I find it crazy that you are such a Joseph Parker nuthugger and not from New Zealand. In all seriousness, you must be one of his biggest fans outside of his homeland. I was convinced you're some little Maori-looking coont.
