30% + a hand in the extras seems fair, IMO. That's if Hearn puts this on in the UK.
Eddie Hearn "30% For Joseph Parker Will Earn Him Record Highest £15Million"

AJ has two world title belts. Each of those organizations do a 75/25 split for mandatories. Meaning a Pulev or an Oquendo would be entitled to 25%.
So an undefeated world champion demanding 35% is not unreasonable, but there's no way Hearn will give in. They'll try to hard line at 35, Hearn will hard line at 30, and hopefully the two sides can compromise at 32.5 or 33.Comment

Mandatories only get 25% of the purse split. Purse never includes PPV revenue but Parker is getting PPV income.AJ has two world title belts. Each of those organizations do a 75/25 split for mandatories. Meaning a Pulev or an Oquendo would be entitled to 25%.

Boxing is a business so the percentage shouldn't be looked into too much.. It's the gurentee that's more important. The purse can be what every they deem it to be (highest bid placed in purse bid).
For example DLH offered GGG a flat rate $15mil but GGG declined.. When the fight was made official GGG got 3mil and Canelo got 5mil gurenteed purse.. They both made much more but as with any business, they fiddled numbers (way around tax) same reason why Steve Jobs salary at Apple was $1.. Yes $1 dollar a year.Last edited by NahMean; 11-23-2017, 12:57 AM.Comment

WBA & IBF mandatories get 25% of the purse bid. Any registered promoter in good standing can bid and their bids would be based on what they believe the fight would generate in the marketplace, including PPV.
When Holyfield was the mandatory, his 25% was worth over $8 million.
That $8 million ended up being worth far more than 25% of overall revenue, including PPV, as the promoter of the fight lost millions of dollars.Comment

I hope they offer Wilder more than that when they fightEddie Hearn in his latest interview has confirmed he will not give Joseph Parker the 35% he has demanded.
But he confirmed that they will not undervalue Parker with a split as low as 25% (Meaning he will meet them in the middle). He confirmed the amount he has offered will ensure Parker makes a MASSIVE 8 figure income in excess of £15Million ($20mil American Dollars or $29mil New Zealand Dollars) if they were to fight in March next year.
That's more than reasonable.. So is team Parker pricing themselves out by wanting 5% more.
