    If Tarver beats Hopkins............

Will you give him respect for beating one of the best middleweights of all time or would he just be fighting a washed up fighter that has a disadvantage by moving up weight?

Tarver has nothing to gain from this fight. Horrible move for him. Why not go to cruiserweight and take on the champ there? why not get Calzaghe at a cath weight? why not take on Toney at a catch weight? he has options.

Hopkins is old, & looked it against Jermain taylor....who is a middleweight.
Sorry, Tarver fans, your boy gains nothing but some $$$ for this fight.

If Tarver beats Hoskins, however, we are talking about an instant HOF induction for Antonio.

I can't be mad at him for trying to get the most money possible his window is closing and he got a late start. So fighting a fight that would be good but not paying him the big bucks probably isn't in his immediate future. I would like to see him fight Calzaghe but Tarver said he wasn't going across the water and idunno how anxious Calzaghe would be to fight him in the US. If Tarver looks good maybe that will start the movement for this fight to happen.

It would still be a pretty nice accomplishment. Not what Tarver will make it out to be because he is in llove with himself, but it will be a feat if he pulls it off.

Personally, it would be the first time I've ever seen Hops lose a fight.

I could be crazy, but I like Hopkins to turn it on just enough in the later going to grab the decision. I have a feeling he'll be the one with more energy, and Tarver will start to allow him to come forward with short right hands, which will catch the eyes of the judges.

                  I'm looking forward to it.

This would be anoter reason why Tarver will be crying for respect it the next few years. Hes beaten two old ledgends who were nowehere near their primes, yet he thinks he is the greatest.
                    What a joke.
