Lol, mommies and daddies ! They just earnt £1.4m to travel to the UK, they promote Jeff Horn, unless you were unaware Parker has fought on ppv for his last 5-6 fights, Horn just filled a 50k capacity stadium another ppv !offended it was the most perthetic tactic to get under ajs skin like somthing a 9 year old would come out with was cheap an tacky and just made a complete fool out of who i thinks quite a decent boxer higgins must run ducco from his bedroom in his mommy and daddys place seriously hope aj swerves fighting him couldnt bare seeing higgins all over the place in the build up makes chris eubank sr look normal
Yeh sure he utilises his mommas basement. Smh. I guess all those moms basements jokes on you over the years really irritated you right you figure it's actually offensive to say to someone yourself, lmao.

You say pay them less but they'll all earn career high pay days. Why should aj be giving out hand outs? He shouldn't have to take less than he already earns to subsidise everyone else.Comment

I hear you Scott, I really do, I'm a Parker fan but just a few facts for you around Duco. Joe's last PPV fights in NZ pretty much tanked apart from the Takam and Ruiz one's. They did pretty well, but the PPV market in NZ is super small and they don't make mega bucks from them.Lol, mommies and daddies ! As for the Horn fight, yeah they did well to get Suncorp stadium as full as it was but the PPV in Aussie actually under performed for what they were expecting plus it cost an arm and a leg to get pac and his huge entourage downunder, so that one was pretty much a bust too. My understanding was they came out of that fight about breakeven, certainly no great gains were made.
On the upside, Horn is now a bonafide star in Oz and I suspect they will do much better off the next one, although to counter that I guess Horn's price tag per fight has gone up as well.
Will be interesting to see how Browne/Parker will go in NZ. Duco have force fed the NZ market so many bad PPV's of Joe, guys like Kali Meehan, Dimitrenko etc that Kiwi's have become a bit gun shy when it comes to buying his PPV's. I'd say they will be banking on the trans-tasman Aussie/NZ rivalry to sell it but it is no given.Comment

That is a really pathetic excuse for a promotional video, but Ducco is a small company in the huge ocean of major boxing promoters. Bottom line though, a Parker fight would be a big money maker for everyone involved, and Hearn should go for it. And BTW, all this talk about Joshua being a bum with a glass chin is just silly. ANY HW can get dropped at this level. Joshua is no more prone to that than any other top fighter. And I have little doubt that Parker will get dropped at least once if he and Anthony have a go at it. And if you wanna get technical, neither fighter had their best outing with their last fights. So both have something to prove. There you have it, a great fight for the fans, and both teams make stacks of cashish.

What are the PPV buys like for Parker fights? Surely, if they're so high, that would be justification for a decent percentage against Joshua. How are they desperate when they've a potential Oceanic PPV against Browne to fall back on and the possibility of a purse bid against World of Boxing for a Poevtkin fight ? If anything I'd expect Hearn to shown more desperation in his attempts to get the WBO belt for AJ if he really wanted it, could it be possible they don't ? Hearn doesn't appear tonne acting like it !
When all is said and done Higgins will take the biggest offer whether it be from WOB, Matchroom or promoting an AUS/NZ ppv at the Suncorp to a full house, you're a fool if you think any different.
It doesn't really make much sense that of all the things they've mentioned, that wouldn't be one of them.Comment

JP scraping bottom to get the world to pay attention to him after two really lackluster performances, but I have to admit, I'm starting to like the Kiwi for his tenacity and delusions of grandeur.
After this, and the Bombsquad spanking him(AJ) around in the media, he's got to have his knickers in a bunch. By the time he gets back in the ring his mind will be so twisted he won't be able to concentrate on the fight plan.Comment

Why cave now when it's beyond clear that, were the Joshua talks to fail, Parker would be looking at traveling to Australia, to fight an Australian, for likely half the money that's currently being offered, a situation made even worse with the notion that, even if Parker made it through that fight, he'd be facing the close of his voluntary defense period with Povetkin waiting on him?
You add that the press conference flop did nothing to make Parker more valuable, and I doubt that Matchroom moves all that much from whatever their current offer is.Comment
