... only joking... Ward did what he could do best vs that alcoholic Russian... I've lost good money on the rematch, because I couldn't believe the guy was actually a drunk...

(as about "the nutcracker": I once had a woman with "casse-noisette"... mind blowing, doe... )

If kovalev pressures and hard from the beginning this should be a good indication how much he can stand up to that pressure and if he's successful it might not go past 7 again... or is the shadow of Ward hanging over Kovalev???

I really don't give a $#it about this fight or,...... Kovo for that matter. From most reports I've seen and read, the guy is a first class prick. Although I think he was the victim of dirty tactics in the second Ward fight, the idiot should have taken a knee when he had the chance. Seems like every time a good fight takes place lately, the referee's, are who most folks like and think are good and fare for the most part, end up making poor calls, non calls, or basically looking like they are in the ring for the first time. And the quality of judging seems to have sipped off as well. Does anyone know who the judges and the referee are going to be for this fight I may tune in just to observe their performances instead of the fight.

The refs have been very bad lately. Even that Joshua fight i was like???? It seems like theyll let the lil guys kill each other and then act like bigger fighters moms.

Those were some questionable borderline low blows and im a Ward fan but that was some BS. I guarantee Kovalov would of been warned if he was doing that.

One of the most biased ref. Out there is Floyd Bayless Jr. NEVER warns floyd. ONLY the other boxer and in almost every fight.

So is Ward, Mayweather, Stevenson, Wilder, Fury etc and the like. Man up and be a fight fan or go back to Barbie Dolls. It's not about the guy's personality, it's about fighting. Ward got gifts. Wards a punk.

Normally, Kovalev shouldn't have left these fights to the refs and judges... But he was shot already by his drinking problem -- he already looked bad vs Chilemba...

On the plus side, Shabranksky is a big, durable fighter with a pretty good chin. Unfortunately, he's a predictable, straight ahead guy who gets embarrassed if the other fighter doesn't hit him in the face.
Kovalev is a level or two above this guy and should win by KO. The unknown in this fight is what Kovalev is bringing, cause as they say, "It's tough get up for roadwork when you're sleeping between silk sheets."
