Comments Thread For: Arum: Terence Crawford Will Face Horn-Corcoran Winner Next

As part of their deal with ESPN, the founder of Top Rank, Bob Arum, has promised that his boxers will be kept more active. Or at least be fighting more than twice a year as most world-class boxers do nowadays. Terence Crawford, who is one of the crown ***els of the Top Rank stable fought twice in 2017 (defeating Felix Diaz and Julius Indongo). So will Crawford - who recently vacated all his belts at 140 to move up to welterweight - fight at least three times in 2018?

Awesome, Snake Arum has a guaranteed title shot for Crawford. Moving forward, Top Rank will have to work with Uncle Tom Haymon to match him against the best. I guess it pays off having a good promoter behind you.

Awesome he needs to be seen more often!

The end of Jeff Horn aka Dirt Horny from Down Under is coming in 2018!

Hope they allow Crawford to fight over there at one of them Aussie stadiums, the judges won't be a problem as Horn makes so many mistakes in the ring that a cerebral killer like Bud will make him pay dearly for!

Just don't allow that ref in the Pacquiao fight to ref it!

Love Crawford but it's a problem when the would be crossover superstars of the sport are only fighting twice a year. Crawford has the talent to be one of the biggest names in the sports world but he's just not fighting enough anymore.

Jeff Horn is even a poorer version of Chris Algieri...

I'm glad Horn and Crawford are going to fight! EASY $$$$ Even if the payout is DOGSHT!!! Crawford is going to be a HUGE Favorite! I don't see it being under -900. I expect it to start at -900 and then move up.

At this level it's EXPENSIVE to fight 3-4 times a year! And even if you can??? 2-3 are against BUMS/Cab Drivers. At this level even fighting BUMS with THEM accepting pennies barely makes any money. You have to PAY the STAR and HIS A+ Team... Think about IT!!!

Look out now! The welterweight division is really beginning to heat up. After Crawford, I believe that Mikey Garcia should consider moving up to the welterweight division as well.
