No. Marquez fought Pacquaio twice (2011-2012), then Bradley and then fought the dude that had beaten Rios. The timing just wasn't there. Neither guy is known to duck anyone. Unfortunately Rios also can't duck punches and would have suffered a horrible beating.

Rios would have been hit hard and often but a prime Rios would have made Marquez work really hard and would have hit Marquez too. Rios was bigger and stronger than Marquez but he wasn't anywhere near as good a fighter as Juan. All we could do is speculate.

Bradley was never a punching bag. He was a smart boxer and grinder. He gave everyone a hard time in the ring.
