Financially speaking. Seems like Lara has a sweeter deal for being the relatively lesser of the two Cuban fighters. How is that Lara got with Haymon and not Rigo?
Is Lara better off than Rigo?

Both left Cuba, both initially signed with Arena-Box, and when that fell through, Rigondeax ended up with Gary Hyde/Caribe while Lara ended up with DeCubas/Haymon (with the way that Haymon seems to do business, it could be as simple as Lara not getting an advance but being promised the opportunity, while Rigondeax signed a deal with a check in hand upon signing). -
I think part of Rigo's frustration, and why he appears miserable all the time, is that he can't admit that he ****ed up his career signing with Caribe. They've wasted the last 2-3 years of his career. He hopes it will eventually get better, but at this age he sees the writing on the wall and that's why he's cashing out moving up two weight classes to fight Lomachenko.Comment

No he’s doing what Chad Dawson did (different and awkward class), and went to fight Ward to get a better spot on the p4p list.I think part of Rigo's frustration, and why he appears miserable all the time, is that he can't admit that he ****ed up his career signing with Caribe. Stop blaming Caribe, that’s all fake news. Arum specifically told the world that after he beat Donaire that they didn’t want him anymore... THe HBO platform. Your own promoter criticizes his fighter instead of defending him in the public eye. Caribe got nothing on Arum. Stop blaming them. Rogue internet minions defending and disguising what Top Rank did to Rigo. It’s disgustingComment
