Seriously though only Toney scrotum sailors "AKA the brothas" Think Toney could actually beat VK. Man that gorilla gonna get spanked by the huggin PR ******! Byrd owns Toney and even crappy Brewster would just land on him all nite. Like JT would KO Brewster with what power?

What are you talking about? If he beats Ruiz, he is heavyweight champion. He has as much of a claim as Vitali does if he owns a belt.

James Toney barely won the cruiser weight belts from Jirov. Look how good Jirov did up in the heavyweights. I think that Toney has a chance against Ruiz, Bryd, and Brewster just because his popularity could mess up the judges in any fight where he doesn't get KO'd.

Hmm...well, most people scored Toney-Jirov to Toney by a wide margin. I had it 8 rounds to 4 plus that knockdown in the 12th. Then, think about this. Toney has never been hurt in a fight before. I'd say he has a lot going for him.

                      lol

Bull. Vitali is recognized as the best heavyweight, by the Ring...that's what counts more than anything else. Also, Vitali is recognized by the public. Beating Ruiz doe snot give you equal status as heavyweight champion.

If that was the case, Roy would have been THE champion when he beat Ruiz. It was a great accomplishment, but it didn't make him THE champ, just a champ, and that's what Toney will be if he can beat Ruiz, and that's a big if, if you ask me.
