Anthony Joshua on the other hand had it all his own way. Eddie Hearn shipped Klitschko over like some exotic cuisine and fed him to AJ on a silver platter. After letting Klitshko marinate for a good 16 months. And AJ still almost got himself knocked out! In the end, Klitschko's age and ring rust did him in. He almost had to run onto AJ's punches to help get the job done.

If AJ's win was great, like the fanboys claim, then Tyson Fury's must be an all-time great victory.
Because Tyson Fury fought one of the ugliest fights in the history of heavyweight boxing, only to scrape by with a 7-5 decision.

The fight is on YouTube, and there's a reason you never see or hear folks who are fans of Tyson Fury ever really talk about the actual fight.

Joshua had the better fight, klitschko basically emptied whatever he had left into the fight, and the fight had a pretty definitive end.

    Can't ignore history

Fury deserves minimal credit for a out of sink Wlad in and out of the ring coupled with Fury testing positive for steroids . If you wish to think thats remotley on the same level as Joshua going for an actual stoppage with a Klitchko whos back was against the wall and as derermined as ever well one of us has a different outlook on what better fighting is .

Joshua defeated Klitchko with 18 fights experience and weighing at 250 something he gambled with and now has hone 21 rnds at about or above that weight . With more experience he would have finished off Klitchko sooner or in that rnd 5 had he had more rnds under him.

Really only Fury fans will find ways to chip away at this like dumbium and Vinnykin .Two posters who throw temper tantrums and run off debates and FORUMS when things dont go their way .......

At the end of the day you had a VERY green novice defeat a guy who couldn't lose without worrying about retirement ,well prepared (he hsd been too 3 training camps when he was originally to fight Fury ) and always showed he comes back better after losses and rematches . THATS the guy Joshua defeated vs The one who didnt take Fury seriously and had outside distractions .

Do the math who had the better win ,one got the actual knock out the other ??? I dont even know what that was ?.

Plenty of people discredit the Joshua win.

41 years old, 18 month layoff. You clearly haven't been paying attention if you haven't seen those words many times since April.

Fury got credit at the time and deservedly so but with all the crap that's gone on/him not fighting people are moving on. Can't be stuck in Nov 2015 forever.

              Who discredits Fury's win?

Seems theres way more people 'outraged' over the lack of respect Fury gets than there is people showing him disrespect.

Are we still supposed to be talking about his Wlad win two years later when he is a fat, recovering drug addict with no boxing licence?

this is the same thing I've been asking. People have erased Fury's win over Klitchsko a year prior as if it never happened. It think anyone with a brain knew Joshua was gonna knock Wladamir out. He was 41 coming off of a loss

                    They're idiot casual fan boys!
Fury effectively embarrassed Wlad is his own backyard Wlad wasn't in his prime but he WAS the lineal HW champion and undefeated in 11 years.
AJ beat a 41 year old inactive Klitschko who's confidence was shot following the Fury fight. AJ showed some great strengths in that win particularly heart and courage but also showed many vulnerabilities.
                    Fury's win > AJ's win. Simple.🥊

I am an ex AJ fan for numerous reason. Fury was awfully boring in his win over Wlad and then he seemingly threw away his world title. An in shape and motivated Fury is probably the best heavyweight in the world but he needs to get it together.
