They don't want Jacobs again which tells a lot & he won't even fight his mandatory in Jermall Charlo which says a lot too.

A clear and close, but not that close, win by Golovkin. 7-5 in rounds plus knockdown at WORST for GGG. Jacobs tales are like that uncle that repeats the old fishing story and the fish puts on size every time the story is told until finally he caught Moby **** when it was merely a 5 pound striper at the beginning.

This thread is not about who won the fight, re-read thread title.

And since you're mention it, matches are judged on who lands more punches, any knockdowns scored, and ring generalship. Danny lost on all 3 counts.

Really...because when the final bell sounded, Danny collapsed on the ropes in total exhaustion and defeat, while GGG was on his feat swaggering back to his corner.

How so? GGG did the smart thing by getting the Canelo fight secured for September(It was hell just getting the fight signed for him the past two years). Since the draw happened, both camps are looking do a rematch. That's pretty normal in the boxing world. While the momentum is still there, have their rematch. Then after, GGG will probably fight Saunders(if he beats Lemieux), Jacobs and Charlo. Probably his final 3 fights and then retirement.

Jacobs himself didn't seem super gungho about rematching GGG right after their fight, it sounded like he wanted to take some time off before pursuing the rematch. Don't worry, they'll probably have a rematch as long as GGG doesn't retire and Jacobs keeps winning.
