Check to see if you can find a documentary called "O Grande Campeao" it should be on YouTube. I have the DVD and it has subtitles options.
He was sublime. I think he had the best overall form of any fighter. Great technical fighter with great power, defense etc;Comment

They should ban the whole internet for the sake of our mental health.I searched wiki and didn't see anything on a boxing ban. I read the Turkish federation was founded in 1924, and operated under the Turkish wrestling league until the early 40s.
I did however read that Turkey has banned T.V. dating shows, Minecraft, and parts of the internetComment

The nations you mentioned have more russian and asian blood than turkey.Originally posted by RoviFunny to hear that from a Golovkin c-ock envier like yourself. Do you have any notion that Kazakhs are just another Turkish tribe.
What about Azarbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekhstan, Turkmenistan or Dagestan? Have any idea they fold ppl down? The only reason they produce quality boxers and Turkey can't is due to the Soviet support given to athleticism.
It's just ****** you guys somehow trying to link failure to the racial factors. Boxing here is imported from caucasians and it'll take some 30 years at least b4 the sport evolves to a decent world class level.
Especially kazack--They are not simpy "turkish tribes"Comment

kazachs are a complete melting pot of of central asia, stop itOriginally posted by RoviKazakhs are Turks, you are just making up or have any knowledge on the issue? I easily understand when they talk, they have dominant Turk genes and have some Slavic population immigrated from the federation (and a very little German community). It's just a pity they prefer using Russian language, another success for another Soviet policy.
Just like Kyrgzstan, they mingled less with Persians and Arabs compared to Turkmenistan, Azarbaijan and Turkey Turks due to geographical factors.
are approximately 70% Mongoloid and 30% Caucasoid and this admixture explains why some Kazakhs have light European physical features in contrast to the majority who have black hair, brown eyes, and epicanthic eyefolds. They have many different kinds of ancestors including various Turkic tribes (Kipchaks, Khazars, Qarluqs, and Argyns), Turko-Mongol groups (including Alshyn, Dughlat, Jalayir, Kerait, Kiyat, Manghud, Naimans, Nogais, and Onggirat), and other Central Asian peoples like Huns and Iranian peoples.
The only thin tutkik about them is their languageComment

Turkey's pretty high on the underachieving list, up there with India (and the rest of the subcontinent in general), China, Greece and Spain.Comment
