Selby and Cruz busy why no mention of Gary Russell?

Cuz GRJ is nobody in the division, no fan base, no solid wins and barely even fights anyway. Pretty sure most of the big fish in the division forget who he even is.

About Gonzalez knocking down Frampton twice in 1st rd and how it convinced others in division to fight him but its the way he said, Gonzalez who was found dead and naked in the back of the truck rather then just say he died soon after...kind of totally uncalled for.

Well, it's not like Frampton fought a big name tonight (100-1 odds, crazy). I've never liked the "nobody knows him", "no money in the fight" excuses. Frampton-Russell would be much more interesting than most of Carl's matchups. People say the same thing about Rigo, then Loma-Rigo sales out as soon as tickets go on sale. Fans know the good competitive matchups when they see them. Bringing Gary to the Ireland would be a huge fight.

You are right, Carl does not need Gary just like he didn't need Rigo. Translation, Frampton does not need an embarrassing loss.

Frampton showed signs of slippage in that very fight against gonzalez.
Agreed bunce needs euphanasia or a muzzle on in future he strikes me as someone Wanting a reaction likes a camera in his face.

Frampton said no need to work hard to be better in the ring but in his case maybe he does. He was gassing but not surprising really as Garcia is a machine plus he gassed against Quigg. Also inactivity played a part and maybe also underestimating Garcia.
What Frampton needs now is get back in the ring quick against another similar level fighter but pick someone who isn't a combination of machine and brick shithouse and also do something/anything to build up his stamina. Do that in April and fight in Windsor Park in august against selby.

Frampton won't have a big fight untill the summer seeing as Warrington vs Selby is happening next.

Frampton vs GRJ would be a great fight for April in Belfast.

And i was a huge critic of Frampton for not fighting Rigo at Super Bantam.
