Comments Thread For: Julian Williams Mentally Prepared For 'Road Game' With Smith

As junior middleweight Julian 'J-Roc' Williams (23-1-1, 15 KOs) faces Ishe Smith (29-8, 12 KOs) on Saturday night from the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas - it's clear that he is in enemy territory. "Yes, and guess what?," asked his trainer, Stephen 'Breadman' Edwards, "We trained for it. One thing you know about me, I'm a pretty transparent guy. This is 100 percent a road game. We're on a Mayweather Promotions card, we'll be walking out first and this is Ishe Smith's hometown. These aren't opinions - that's a fact."

Williams needs this fight more than Ishe Smith. He's with Mayweather so he'll get another opportunity just on that alone.

J Rock was looking pretty good against Charlo before the stoppage. I'm curious to see how good he can be and if his chin will betray him again.

J rock needs a KO. I think he can grind and get it if he's mentally right. Smith fight will let him know if his mind is there to get that championship.

Why are young fans so quick to say
glass chin whenever somebody gets KOd? Williams’ chin is glass because he got caught by a perfect uppercut of all punches?

His chin is still a question mark
