Dropped a couple times? He’s been dropped once as a pro v Wlad.

Gaining confidence off sparring rumours, if thats gonna help you in there then go for it Parker.

      Hahaha...

Dropped once becomes ‘dropped a few times’ and to be fair, that was a solid right hand that hit AJ absolutely flush, from possibly the hardest right hand in the game.

AJ did show very good recovery in getting straight back up, and KO’ing Wlad. Good recovery is better than a good chin IMO, and to come back from that and beat Wlad is unheard of.

Also, if you watch the replay slow, it’s a delayed drop from AJ after the right hand lands. Go watch it. He sees Wlad about to follow up with another punch and instead goes down. It was the cleverest thing to do in the circumstances to avoid another solid punch landing while he was buzzed and it actually showed his maturity as a fighter. I wouldn’t expect Parker or his team to recognise this though.

No idea why they don't come to an agreement where if Parker wins he gets 40% and if he loses he gets 20%. If they're both confident in their abilities they'd do that to get the fight made.

Parker clearly has no confidence that he could win. He and his team are talking about it as of it's his last fight, and he needs the money to look after his family.

He should be looking at other former Joshua opponents. Many of them are doing quite well since he beat them. Whyte is ranked #1 by the WBC. Breazeale will be fighting for Wilder's title next. Martin could possibly face Wilder this year if Joshua - Wilder doesn't get made.
