  • Comments Thread For: Naoya Inoue vs. Yoan Boyeaux on December 30

It was announced in the middle of the night that Naoya Inoue (14-0, 12 KOs) will fight little known Yoan Boyeaux (41-4, 26 KOs) on 12/30 in Yokohama, the city where Inoue trains. Inoue has had a tough time securing an opponent as other champions Jerwin Ancajas and Kal Yafai took other fights this Fall, and would prefer to wait and fight in February on HBO's Super Fly 2 before fighting again.

Doesn't sound like the Japanese NYE shows are going to have any particularly great match-ups this year. Inoue vs Boyeaux and Shiro vs Pedroza on the Fuji TV show and Kyoguchi vs Buitrago and Taguchi vs Canizales II on the Watanabe show

So who do you think beats Inoue at 115? Who does he have to beat in his division to be ranked above Crawford on your P4P list, for example?

It does not matter the class or caliber of Fighters challenging for titles in Japan everyone wants to go there for the big bucks that they pay either directly or under the table it's a gold mine they're better than Vegas, from what I have been told..

This guy isn't a total bum. He hasn't been knocked out yet. Even drunkard Frampton didn't knock him out although they both were on their third fights. Some familiar names on his resume like Karim Guerfi and Anthony Settoul.
