Wilder and his handlers know that time is running so they want that big money fight against Joshua ASAP to retire after that loss as a rich man. Also the WBC protects Wilder from dangerous opposition to make the Joshua bout happen.

Cherry picking low ratings Wilder is a joke here in the states. Hopefully the fight does happen and the Parker fight too but Wilder is definitely the B side when it comes to the split. I wouldn't give that joker 50%. If Wilder would beat someone like Ortiz then he would have international fame and respect but that will never happen because Wilder gets KO'd by terminally ill grandpa Ortiz.

Exactly. Wilder doesn't get big paydays against bums in Alabama so his only option is Joshua who earns at least 5 times more money against someone like Takam in the UK.

Look at all the trash talking and calling out Wilder does when he actually wants a fight, and see how many articles it is generating on the boxing websites. Where were all the articles like this back when the Klitschkos had the belts? Where was all of Wilder's trash talking and calling out then?

Oh yeah, back when real elite boxers held the heavyweight straps, Wilder was quiet as a mouse all the way into his thirties. So yeah, he might end Joshua's career, or Joshua might end his, but either way, that won't make him a real champion. No one who ducks the best of his era into his thirties, waiting for them to retire and get replaced with a less talented new generation of beltholders before stepping forward, is a real champion.

Chicken legs sparred with the Klitschkos. He probably got rocked and decided right then and there that he would never dare challenge them. He and his team know his limitations.
