Comments Thread For: Wilder To Joshua: I'm The Man That's Going To End Your Career!

The verbal sparring between heavyweight boxing's best fighters is still going strong with Deontay Wilder vowing to "end" Anthony Joshua's career. WBC champion Wilder retained his belt earlier this month with a first-round knockout of Bermane Stiverne at the Barclays Center in New York. Immediately after the sixth defence of the WBC belt, Wilder called out Joshua by declaring "war" on the British boxer.

It's going to be the most hilarious look when AJ smashes Bambi legs into pieces, never heard any boxer talk so much ****e with such a poor record begging for a payday. It's embarrassing now.

Joshua will your end pathetic career finally. The worst "Champ" since a long time who is afraid to face top opponents. Stiverne is his best win in 39 fights. This says it all about Wilder´s padded record.

Wilder and his handlers know that time is running out so they want that big money fight against Joshua ASAP to retire after that loss as a rich man. Also the WBC protects Wilder from dangerous opposition to make the Joshua bout happen.

Look at all the trash talking and calling out Wilder does when he actually wants a fight, and see how many articles it is generating on the boxing websites. Where were all the articles like this back when the Klitschkos had the belts? Where was all of Wilder's trash talking and calling out then?

Oh yeah, back when real elite boxers held the heavyweight straps, Wilder was quiet as a mouse all the way into his thirties. So yeah, he might end Joshua's career, or Joshua might end his, but either way, that won't make him a real champion. No one who ducks the best of his era into his thirties, waiting for them to retire and get replaced with a less talented new generation of beltholders before stepping forward, is a real champion.
