    Too much respect for Barrera

This is my honest opinion & I want to see how many people agree with me. It looked like to me that Juarez had too much respect for Barrera & didn't unleash all his power until late in the fight(I'd say about the 10 round), dont get me wrong MAB still took some real hard shots later on, and I think he deserved at least a draw, but if Juarez would have been trying to knock his head off from the start Barrera would have been stopped. Give me your feedback.

nay, and ill tell u why. If juarez went in for the KO right from the get-go, then he probably would have gotten KOed himself. I agree though, he should have started his attack maybe a round or two earlier then he did, but he definetly shouldnt have started in the very early rounds.

Barrera has lived his entire career on the inside. He is one of the most skilled fighters at fighting inside. Juarez isnt. He would have gone to war with one of the best, and would have gotten KDed right quick, in which case he would back off for the rest of the fight, putting himself in a predicament where he couldnt win the fight no matter what.

True, but to me it looked like he was landing punches but he wasn;t putting all his power into the shots, he was just trying to keep him away, once he saw that he might lose the fight he decided to let his hands go, I feel you K, MAB is someone you don't want to give an opening to, but he broke his nose early & had he put some more juice in those punches MAB might have been in trouble, I say might cause i didn't see him in trouble at all in that fight except when he wabbled alittle at the end of one of the rounds.

valid point. the big punch (in the 11th i believe) was a terrible moment for barrera. I guess juarez could have caused it a bit earlier if he put on more pressure, but i dont think he would have won by KO. maybe a decision, but not KO
