While this sounds like a good idea, I don't think ODH would risk Canelo getting embarrassed again prior to a Sept fight with GGG. He surely isn't going to want to share the coveted May date with Floyd or risk some of his coke and lingerie money.

So I expect Canelo will fight one of 3 people-Lemuix, Sanders or Cotto-if he doesn't fight GGG in May.
