How good was Tyson slipping punches???

Tyson's elussiveness and peek-a-boo is well known. He looked spectacular against guys who threw lazy jabs and wild amateurish punches but the guys who beat him or gave him a run for his money had great jabs and great punching ability but also by the time he faced them this ability was gone and in other cases he would ko them early without needed to slip any punch,so how good he was at slipping punches???

In the first part of his boxing career he was text book. D'Amato and Rooney taught him to move his head after every combination. Hence a devastating KO ratio. You won't see too many HWs who moved like Tyson in his prime.

He was very good at slipping punches. Elite in his early days. If you watch the Holyfield fight you can see the deterioration.

It was very good ,when Tyson stop training with Rooney he abandoned his slipping game and started getting hit which lead to his down fall. You can't be a smaller dude standing upright to larger men they will pick you apart. You must get low and slip their punches specially their jabs and straight rights
