Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Joshua Fears Me, He Don't Really Want To Fight!

According to WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs), there is an evident lack of confidence that resonates from IBF, IBO, WBA world champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs). Wilder has been very vocal about his desire to get Joshua in the ring - as soon as possible. But most of the talking from the other side has not come from Joshua, but from his promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom.

Joshua persona doesn't speak a lot. Before and after Wilder he would be like that, how do you think he was able to sell himself to the british public? And being the A-side he doesn't really need to do a lot of talking. The B,C,D-sides have an advantage in that respect, i remember when Mayweather was the B-side, he would trash talk Oscar,Mosley or Gatti back in those days. Once he became the A-side he didn't have to, everyone has a role in boxing and being the B-side Wilder is playing his role.

This was the best version of Floyd. Telling Gatti he will whoop his ass in front of his home fans, stealing Oscar's gym bag, Roger and Floyd prank calling Freddie Roach haha

He's just trying to deflect from the fact he's ducking Dillian Whyte. Says he's the most feared heavyweight and yet Dillian Whyte and Eddie offered him $4m and he didn't want to know.

I saw a recent interview on Brian Kenny (Name?), both Gatti (RIP) and PBF were on the screen. I felt like that was the Mayweather a lot of people don't know lol. He told Gatti what he was going to do, he was talking mad shit, i was like i wouldn't mind seeing PBF instead of money again lol.

Wilder is desperate for that payday!

As far as the world is aware, everything that comes out of Hearn and Joshua’s mouth says this fight will be negotiated to happen in 2018.

It ain’t gonna happen in 2017, no matter how much he wants it to.

Wilder needs to calm down and STFU, else he’s going to blow it like Khan did with the Mayweather fight.

The thing is Joshua has never been the trash talking type, it’s not like he’s been vocally brash in the lead up to fights. Even when Whyte was talking mad **** about his criminal past, Joshua still held back. He’s probably not the type to draw confidence from being boastful like Wilder is.
