The question is, was that right hand that Ward hurt Kovalev to the jaw with just the perfect punch, or was a kink in Kovalev's armor exposed? Setting the controversial body punches aside, he was hurt to the boy and head with legal shots....so was that Ward deciding to throw the hardest he ever has, or was it just perfect punches, or has a chip in the porcelain of Kovalev exposed a fighter who does not have great punch resistance? I'm not discounting the obvious low blows in any way here.

he was never hurt to the body with legal punches. every single time he reacted was because of a low blow. we have the video. this is a ward fanboy talking point that has been refuted.

Kovalev deserves a shot at a vacant title, two controversial endings against Ward but there are *****s and father time is ticking.
