Comments Thread For: Fury: Even Wilder Thought I Beat Parker - Everyone Can't Be Wrong

HUGHIE FURY is totally convinced Joseph Parker will do everything possible to swerve a world heavyweight title rematch because he already knows the result he'd lose his WBO crown. Fury slipped to his first career defeat against the New Zealander in September with the scoring wildly different as two judges had Parker winning by eight rounds while the third scored it a draw at Manchester Arena.

Can't win a fight Hughie without fighting, I had JP winning comfortably but I understand if some people scored it close as it was an ugly fight but no way Fury won

Totally agree. Parker-Takam was closer in my opinion although I had Joseph winning.

Fury fought to just make it close and believed he would receive an hometown decision. I'm glad it didn't turn out that way. Maybe next time he'll try to win rounds instead.

I wanted Hughie to win but he didn't. He fought not to lose, rather than fighting to win.

Anyway, he just didn't win enough rounds and it's as simple as that. I don't believe in the whole "you have to rip the title away", if you win then you win, but he didn't even do that.

Hughie isn't a bad fighter at all. I think he would benefit more from realising why he lost the fight instead of trying to convince everyone he won. If he can correct the mistakes he made, there's still a very decent fighter in there and he's still young.

Shurrup Fury you don't win because you put up a "good effort" - you have to take the title, now go back to the gym, you boring non-performing cvnt

Fury had to force the issue which he didnt do.

He literally refused to win, he could have won if he wanted but just didn't

That's how I saw it. The fight should've come with a warning attached, may induce drowsiness or similar...

If Hughie can't secure a rematch with JP, then perhaps he could target Sam Sexton for the spring.
