Not once did they (Wilder and his team) even showed any real interest of boxing against either Klitschko brother. Considering how much passion and interest Wilder shows now to prove to be the best. Back in those days, Wladimir Klitschko was the undisputed best heavyweight with most belts and was the lineal champion. So why didn't Wilder want to prove himself then?

    The situation is extremely funny!
Thats bc Klitchko used him as a sparring partner in 2012 for Wach and it stayed with him since . Wilder is the type of guy who will preach to others but not follow through himself . He states champions dont need to take soft touches and thats exactly what hes done since winning the belt from Stiverne .

Klitchko would have knocked Wilder out ,ANY competent person who watched his title defenses would clearly see that . The problem is he plays the " Everyone is ducking me game " and it makes him look idiotic but i guess thats why his fanbase is the most idiotic ive ever seen ?

I was a lot of things after that fury wlad fight but impressed wasn't one of them.
I have not met 1 other boxing fan who has told me they would want to watch that fight again. That was a TERRIBLE fight! Klitz looked like he was OD on sleeping pills and pain medicine while fury was trying to set the record for most feints in a boxing match.

There is a clippings file being collated. Every news item is a win. Expect Wilder to be coming out with more contentious hyperbole than Donald Trump on acid in the weeks ahead.
Actual meaningful fights build up a fight not ridiculous rants . Meaningful fights sell and impressive wins (the Stiverne one was his first ) do . Ridiculous rants only go so far unless you are widely known , he will take a fight with a top 5 opponent if hes actually serious about building up a Joshua fight not riding on Joshuas name .

Yeah well he knocked Klitschko out, Fury didn't. 20 fights and he's fought better more dangerous fighters like Klitschko and Breazeale. Who the hell has he fought in 39 fights, Stiverne and Washington. B1tch please.

At least AJ would take those fights, meanwhile Wilder is just all talk and wont even fight Whyte lol

Only in today's watered-down world would a decision be more impressive than a TKO.

Actual meaningful fights come with risks attached. A loss would undermine the appeal of the big payday fight, those two unbeaten records would be a key part of the pre fight marketing.

Rants on the other hand are risk and cost free. The name of the game appears to take as few real risks as possible in advance of getting Wilder in a ring vs Joshua, so expect to see more rants and nothing opposing Wilder more credible than a Brezeale or similar.
