I agree that he lacks stamina and his personality is 100% poly-based substance, but the guy does have fundamentals. In fact, solid fundamentals are the greatest asset he has besides an enhanced physique. I think his fundamentals are what will trouble Wilder the most.

There's nothing wrong with a boxer being a household name, in fact we need more of them to be. There are so many quality fighters that deserve to be recognised, but it doesn't mean we should be upset by those who already are.
Not at all because none of those boxers had a ******ed fanbase built up of skinny jean **** haircut looking divs who haven't got a clue about boxing and which of those boxers have done show after show on tv had a deodorant named after them? Not one and most of those names could actually fight mate. AJ is a full fledged hype machine if he wasn't a heavyweight he wouldn't be no where near as popular its his physique people like you are impressed with not his actual fighting ability. Because I'm intelligent enough to see a flawed boxer not just this "unstoppable" mass of steroid crushing cans and fixing fights with klitschko don't tell me Wladimir couldnt pull the trigger after knocking AJ down he could. His "passing the torch" quote after the fight confirmed that.

I'm all for promoting boxers in the uk you ballbag. people like Josh taylor, james degale, carl frampton, Luke campbell. Josh kelly. Chris eubank, this wbss 168 IB tournament is great for UK fighters AJ and the hearn sky hype machine is a money spin nothing more then a get rich quick scheme for those involved from mugs who buy into the spiel

I like AJ. And it a good to have a heavyweight champion. Also the heavyweight division has a special place in the British sporting psyche. Generally Brits love a successful Olympian and a heavyweight.

That said AJ is a very guarded personality in a lot of ways. Reminds me a bit of Wlad

I don't think his fundamentals are great. He has no fluidity robotic stiff movement. Restricted lateral movement. Can't fight going backwards his footwork and punch variety is predictable after 3 rounds.
His chin is there to be hit especially by the left look. He has no plan b or c if blasting an opponent outs not working. Other then power and size he has no real effect with keeping an opponent guessing he relies on a fear factor opponent being wary of power. It's no coincidence two good boxers who actually have fundamentals Takam & klitschko took him past 10 rounds

I like AJ fights because they are genuinely interesting. Since the Dillian Whyte fight we've seen he is vulnerable. Before then I didn't pay much attention because he hasn't beem tested at all.

For the same reason I will always watch Khan and Groves fight. I didn't like Degale until after the Groves fight, when he showed that he could cope with a loss, the same with Eubank Jr who bounced back from losing to BJS to now be imo, the favourite to win the WBSS.

What is important though, is for boxers to appear on all those shows and get their names out there, otherwise the sport suffers. This isn't football where they can be seen week in, week out. If we're lucky, a boxer will fight every 3 months. They've got to do something for the rest of that time to keep people thinking about them.

Look at Degale. Since he signed with Al Haymon, he fought in the US and Canada. Fans have forgot about him, and now he's fighting at the Copper Box on 4 weeks notice. He should be selling out the 02 but he has only been doing half the job.

Well Wlad is a big Rocky fan lol maybe that was the passing of the torch he wanted, go out rocky style.

I think the comment about trying to intimidate his opponents with his "power" is spot on as most go in thinking they gonna lose anyway.

Prolly why he don't want wilder or parker.

But yeah the hype machine had lost its mind lol he ain't even really like what the media put out.
