Why does Andre Ward get a pass for calling out Floyd at 160 but not GGG?

To answer the OP - Skin color and/or the nations each fighter comes from.

I see. Did he also retract that he wanted to fight at hw?

As I recall Golovkin wanted Ward to drop to 160 but refused to fight him at 168. I had no problem with that but GGG then wanted to fight Chavez Jr. at 168.

Good job, Bat. You found a better Ward-Golovkin comparison. Golovkin ducked Ward and Ward ducked Joshua. See, they're all the same.

Fighters want the best reward-risk ratios

Fault should be put on hbo imo

I think they didnt wanna make the ward vs ggg fight . They wanted to keep them both unbeaten. Otherwise they could have said to both fighters "we wont pay to have you fight guys like edwin rodriguez and rubio unless you agree to fight each other after" ...they did this for ward vs kova...they granted ward a couple tune ups on the basis he fought kova after them
