Who is in better shape, current Tyson Fury or Bermane Stiverne who lasted a round?

People give Tyson Fury a lot of stick and say he will never get back to the top. But then, was Bermane Stiverne in much better shape than Tyson in his most recent training video?

Say for example Tyson returns and defends his Lineal and RING titles in a couple of tuneup fights while shedding another stone or two. He is already in better shape than some recent title challengers.

Stiverne was in best shape he could be for age but wasn't great in first place.
Fury's younger and not too bad a fighter, pretty good in fact.
So stiverne in better shape. But Tyson is better

Its remarkable someone who hasnt fought in 2 years can still be labelled Ring or lineal champion.

Anyway, let him come back and have a tune up and lets see how he does. Other than that, I'm not interested in the fat boy mouthing off.

I know you’re hating but you still sound silly Fury s in such bad shape mentally and physically he doesn’t have what it takes to even step inside a gym let alone a ring. Bs did not fall down because he was tired he fell down because he got punched, by the hardest hitter in the game. He would have lasted longer with anybody else,...... or he Was so poorly conditioned he had no business in the ring and the commission should be investigated for allowing this fight to happen at all. It’s hard to say because he didn’t Last long enough to get a proper evaluation

I'm not hating. It's widely reported that Joe Joyce sparred with Bermane Stiverne leading up to making his debut. Things like "Bermane got slapped around the ring." were reported.

If you know that, then you know that Stiverne was faking in sparring with the sole purpose for Joyce to spread false information to trick wilder. And Joyce played right into his hands AND I don’t think the rouse is over. I think he went down on purpose to further dup wilder and catch him completely off guard in the trilogy. This is chess not checkers fellas

As bad as Stiverne was - he had no business being in the ring - Tyson Fury's current state is much, much worse. He's liable to have some kind of a heart attack just getting in the ring - a 400lb blub is a ticking time bomb. He should be more concerned with keeping out of the grave, than getting back in the ring.

Not sure what the relevance of "Lineal" and "Ring" titles are though - one is a concept that people can't even agree on, and the other is given out by a magazine owned by a promotional company. The Ring title is as relevant as an NSB title.

He’s smart, I’ll give him that but takes a little more than that to fool me. I was on to him since the dehydration “excuse”. Mark my words. He will be fighter of the decade.....right after broner of course

Fury is in top shape at about 250 pounds so at his current fat weight of 350 pounds he is about 100 pounds over his best fighting weight. If Stiverne was lean and in the kind of shape a pro boxer is supposed to be in he would weigh about 200 pounds and not the 254 blubbery pounds he weighed for Wilder. So Fury is even fatter and many more pounds above his proper fighting weight than tubby Stiverne. Wilder is a good example of how lean a boxer is supposed to be. He is 6 foot 7 inches and 220 pounds and it's all bone and muscle with no extra fat to slow him down or tire him out. A 220 pound man who carries less than 10 percent body fat is a very big man.
