  • Parker prices himself out of Joshua fight

So Parker's promoter will not accept anything less than 40% for an AJ fight, which proves he does not want it.

It's all well and good saying "Parker will put everything on the line" but what is Joshua doing? He has 2 belts and is putting everything on the line as well.

Parker, if he is serious about being the best, would accept less than that to win another 2 world titles, take out the number 1 in the division and have serious leverage over Wilder or even a rematch with Joshua.

He's priced himself out and doesn't have the ambition or belief, just wants the payday.

20% of a Joshua fight is probably more than he can make anywhere else, and Parker is not that good, he could lose his belt to a much worse opponent for way less money

Parker and his promoter are a bunch of Kiwi nobodies. These amateurs want a cash out, nothing more, nothing less.

He could fight 3 times in the next year and not make as much. although I think 30% is fair.

Parker thinks his WBO belt is worth 40%, he's wrong.

A Mandatory gets 25%, Parker is a champion and has fought in the UK vs. Hughie Fury ( you know 'building his profile' like the UK fanboys say Deontay wont do.) furthermore he is expected to defend his championship ON FOREIGN SOIL-- So whats being a champion and building your profile in A.J's homeland worth? ten percent more? so that would be 35%?

I don't think Joey Parker is being unreasonable, Joshua and Mismatchroom are trying to **** and humiliate a man that has a better resume than Joshua and more proven defending on a bias country with corrupt officials and judges. FACT.

UK fanboys are always justifying A.J's b*tch ways.

Not sure what the offer that he was talking about at a press conference was, but do they really need to hold a presser about what they are negotiating about? Am all for openness and all of that but to call a presser and then say "We would NOT accept anything less than 40%" is plain dumb. And then to say Joshua can go fight Wilder and then we would fight Wilder for 50-50 lol, like Wilder with 3 belts would give you 50-50.

Another thing is why don't they go fight Wilder now? I mean i have been told on here by some posters that Wilder/Parker cannot be made because of Bob Arum. But Parker manager here is saying otherwise. So make that fight then.

Mandatory's get 25% of the purse or whatever they negotiate. Parker wants 40% of the total revenue, which is ridiculous and will not happen.

The money is in the U.K, so they go where the money is, Parker shouldn't get more just because the U.K will maximise revenue, he also should get around 30% just for having 1 belt to Joshua's 2 and not having any profile to be demanding more.

He's just a title holder with no better options. If he doesn't accept the money and the chance to take on the number 1 for another 2 belts he is ******, imagine the money he can ask for in a rematch!

If he doesn't accept he will lose a purse bid and have to fight Povetkin in Russia, just like your boy Wilder had to....and he will lose his belt.

He fought Hughie Fury in front of 5,000 people and a few thousand youtube PPVs doesn't constitute profile building. Parker doesn't deserve anymore than 25% as he really brings anything to the table monetarily. If an AJ fight pot is $20m, then 25%, would get $5m. He's not earning more than $2m fighting anyone else, I would say getting 250% more than you can get fighting anyone else a good deal.
