I read on ring magazine website in the build up to the first Stiverne fight that Harold Sconiers dropped him hard and nearly had Wilder out. It's common knowledge that Sconiers dropped him, there aren't any videos of the fight anymore funnily enough.

I've only seen talk if this knockdown in comments with the silly notion that Wilders team forced the poster of the YouTube video to take it down.

I'm under no delusion that he can't be knocked down or out. What baffles me is the sop****ric idea that because a fighter has been down before, it is a foregone conclusion that a better opponent will also knock said fighter down or KO them.

I have never even suggested or insinuated that Wilder would get KO'd by Joshua because of what Sconiers did. I only mentioned that when asking why AJ got the glass chin label and not Wilder despite the fact that the latter has been dropped and hurt by worse opposition. If Joshua has a vulnerable chin then so does Wilder.

True, but if he starts fast and immediately shifts on the inside and rushes Wilder like Jacobs did Quillin then a victory is a big possibility!

Joshua has to make it his fight from round 1 to round 4!

Maybe because in subsequent fights we have seen Wilder take shots and not go down or look troubled, where as Joshua has been down or in trouble versus Klitchko and Whyte who were unable to hurt their prior or recent opponents. To be honest there are a lot of factors that go into a knock down and these direct correlations should not be mase.

To me, every heavyweight out there is hurt or rocked by a Wilder right hand if it lands flush, even through the gloves.

Jacobs blitzed Quillin...landed a good shot, and got the stoppage. Wasn't really an inside fight. That could work, but if it doesnt...there is no recovery for him.

Agreed, In his next fight Joshua should work on his inside game and become vegan to drop 25 pounds or more!

He's too stiff and probably believes he can take shots better with the extra weight!

I dont know why fans think AJ will get to Wilder first when Deontay has the reach and speed advantage!

It's as 50/50 as a fight gets. First one to land cleanly wins and that's what makes this fight so glorious.
