WHY are JACOBS GGG significantly bigger than when they Debut at 160?

Golovkin used to have flacid muscles... look at his earlier bouts. Look at Jacobs in his earlier bouts, cut, but way thinner.

The Alvarez today would have KO’d Jacobs and GGg, but they been milking 160 far too long. For me Jacobs is the most incredible seeing how many natural cells he destroyed to still drain. Look how GGg performed against Jacobs and Nelo. Just weak.

    Keep on.

Come off it please Mask. Your obsession and dislike of GGG has you posting some really ****** stuff and this is a good example. What in hell are you talking about? Jacobs and GGG have been fighting at 160 for so long because that is what they are. Middleweights. Canelo is a great fighter but he wouldn't have KOed them years ago and he probably can't KO them now.

As people age they naturally put on weight. Look at Floyd when he fights smaller fighters. Often he refuses to get on the scale day of fight and he is at least two weight classes larger than JMM, Pac, Hatton, and a few others.

First sentence is correct, and that’s the calibrated reason as to how multiple division champs train professionally if that’s their goal. Being a Multiple weight division champ is successful as a young lion calibrates their metabolism as they age.

Believe me I don’t like bringing down Jacobs as I was one of the most avid fans to see him get through Cancer and still fight again when doctors told him it wouldn’t d be impossible. Jacobs has a strong immune system to blast cells and still rejuvenate later and sTILL be at 160... that’s his choice. I can’t even theorize that he would perform well at 168 or not. Probably he would because of his skilll and confidence, not his size. Guys like Jack or DeGale could hurt Jacobs bad as they were seasoned at this class, fluid.

So here’s the thing. I don’t like bullshįt. GGg clearly said for years 154-168 was easy... no show.

In other words, if I was Lil’G, I would’ve done like Loma and start his career at 154 to be a champ, then 160, and even now at 168 closing his career. GGg could’ve been a 3 division champ by now.

            Fools think he doesn’t drain...

Alvarez gets a slide because he started young like Barrera and PAC at 15 years of age. Many of the lil’g Fans are pAc bandwagoners so they have more in common with liking Nelo than GGg since the Mexican has travelled weights and proven it.

Really not sure what you base this on. GGG has had to make the IBF same day weigh for his last few fights.

YOu do realize boxing is a business? There are professional initiatives for many departments with consultants such a nutritionists, cardio, lifting, etc..

These are professional athletes, and the ones that are intended to be stars are treated as Olympic calibration aside from the fact that many of these elite boxers have been doing it since before their teens.

Dominic Wade, no fear to calibrate weight adjustment during camp compared to training with against an elite.

Kell Brook...cmon, no intense calibration for camp with that Welter.

Until Jacobs, that was one particular camp behind the scenes being stalled for both parties, assume it was beneficial to GGg or Jacobs.

Simple fact is that GGg before the IBF strap was tipping over 170+.

When u are fighting 4 times a year for any boxer that is a big advantage staying in shape, tip top condition, especially when you aren’t taking damage... common sense

THis is why several us know GGG would actually fight comfortably now at 168. People need to realize, the days of Lil’g Fighting 4 Times a year is over. His metabolic rate is different

Aside from any of that, henceforth the doubters...
                “154-168 ez fomi”.

                People still don’t get it

Those are the other two top MWs, and he beat both of them in the majority of scorecards (1-0-1 regardless officially, which is still praiseworthy).

GGG is also getting up there in age, he's 35 now, about 4 years out of prime. Most fighters are well past it at that point. Hagler retired at 32. Ali was 7-3 with only one KO from age 34+.

Obviously someone like Hopkins is the exception, not the rule, but even he had no power from age 34+, with only 6 KOs in 40 fights, and that's including much lighter weight fighters coming up like Tito & Oscar.
