Agreed. When your persona is "the Krusher" and you suffer a demoralizing loss against a guy you said "punches like a girl", it's a hill you gotta climb, internally. If he's still hungry, as a fighter, I think he'll do it. Being that he's a family man now though, he may have accepted that boxing isn't everything.
Yes excactly! And all his habbits of blaming everyone around he, tells me that he is not ready to see the flaws in himself.
I don't think so. I think Bivol is the best light heavyweight and the guy to unify if he can get all the other champs to fight him which is never easy. To each his own. As long as he keeps looking as good as he has been looking Bivol is my pick as the best at 175. Kovalev is always dangerous and no easy fight for anyone but I think Bivol will beat him if they fight.
He won't. The current era of LHW's is much better than the era when Kovalev was coming up. It's not my wishful thinking, it's a fact. Top light heavyweights destroys former Kovalev's victims with ease.
Bivol, Barrera, Beterbiev and Gvozdyk ain't no Cleverly, Sillakh or Cedric Agnew
They ain't ancient B Hop and Pascal either
Not to mention he was EXPOSED which means Ward showed holes in Kovalev's game for other boxers to exploit them. First Kovalev/Ward fight exposed some holes in Andre's game too though, but Ward ain't around anyway
Sure he can. So long as he's not mentally folded after Ward, he's currently the best LHW out there. The one guy I think gives him the most trouble is Gvo (whatever). Guy's a better boxer than Kovalev but we haven't seen how Gvo takes a punch so it'll be intriguing.
Unfortunately once you fold like that it’s hard to come back. I don’t know what happens Psychologically. But i know your competition will lose a lack of fear and respect for you, and that’s not good. Not many guys bounce back after that. Probably the bottle for kov
