I agree. He looks good while fighting B-level journeymen, but all of this entitlement at 160 and becoming a mandatory without even on fight at that weight is nonsense. This is why I want to see Charlo/Jacobs. It's time to see Charlo step up and fight someone his size and weight and someone who can box.

Charlie is Golovkin's mandatory with the WBC, and the the WBC has already ordered a rematch between Canelo and GGG to take place before Charlie gets his shot. Charlie may have to take a fight in the interim to stay active, maybe against someone with a pulse, Jacobs is there, or is the lioness scared?

Sorry dude but it appears he did. You seem to be in a minority, had Jacobs been given the decision against Golovkin it would have gone down as one of the biggest robberies of all time and you know it.

I think David is a potential bad style matchup for Jacobs! Not saying that Jacobs couldn't or won't win that fight. He would just have to be smart about his attack and defense! I do think Jacobs can get that strap though if Canelo or GGG don't ask for that fight. But Jacobs is going to need a belt if he wants GGG or Canelo to fight him.

Your one if the few guys that mentioned how styles can change how a fight is supposed to go. This preoccupation with slotting fighters as A B C etc. is fine to a point but it's just a rough guide.

Jacobs is one our 2nd tier fighters here in America...that being said, he is about as good or better than most other countries' very best at MW...

Just another reason USA is the best in Boxing...our B Team is better than most countries' "A" Teams...


Maybe a "lil'" harsh on G there, but maybe not too far off...he had a very fleeting prime in the pros and has definitely slipped...he was probably an A- at his best in my opinion...

I personally can't give Jermall or his brother an A- yet due to their competition mostly...but I think they both have the ability to get there...

Can you imagine if say, England, had fighters as good and promising as Spence, The Charlos, and Tank Davis?...their country would actually be a serious threat for once at the top level...

I'm a "lil" hard on golovkin cuz his fans & jim lampley lie to us in our face with footage on camera showing us different from what they say....I'll give him a B- & I think Jermall would spank him. LOL....I mean come on the dude stepped up for the 1st time in his pro career with Jacobs & Nelo & struggled then they want to say he is an all time great but all of the sudden he is "deteriorating." shm
