Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, New York - Former middleweight world champion Daniel Jacobs (33-2, 29 KOs) dominated previously undefeated Luis Arias (18-1, 9 KOs) over twelve rounds for a lopsided unanimous decision win. The scores were 118-109, 120-107 and 119-108. This was Jacobs' first bout since going the full twelve round distance with IBF, WBA, IBO, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin in a very competitive fight back in March.
