Gonna be honest, I don't think Beterbiev is all that good.

Beterbiev is one of those fighters from Eastern Europe whom we were told would make some noise in the LHW division. Yet here he is fighting an unheard of Koelling with 23 wins and 6 KOs! WTF??

Problem is nobody wants to fight him to start with... Finding opponents with a pulse with no belts on the line has been tough since The Campillo - Cloud destruction showcases ...

Maybe, but what about Kovalev? Who was ducking whom there? Is Beterbiev not being promoted properly? He hardly has any exposure here in the states. Now that Kov's not the champ, maybe they'll clash.

                    Purses for tonight's main card...

                    From ESPN... http://www.espn.com/live-event/

Here are the purses for the Top Rank ESPN card on Saturday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, according to the California State Athletic Commission contracts: Jose Ramirez $50,000 (though he will make more from the gate and sponsorships), Mike Reed $35,000, Artur Beterbiev $236,250, Enrico Koelling $78,750. The purses for Beterbiev and Koelling come from the winning purse bid Top Rank submitted in July and based on Beterbiev being entitled to 75 percent of the winning offer and Koelling 25 percent.

Good for Beterbiev that he's making that much. Who is this guy he's fighting? He doesn't look like he'd last 4 rounds max!
