Golovkin's power is the reason why Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs backed up as much as they did. Which is the opposite of how they usually box. That tells me Golovkin indeed looked very powerful against them in comparison to most, if not all of their past opponents.

What the hell is 'great win' supposed to even mean? Wladimir Klitschko's knockout record is the greatest of any past heavyweight. He has the knockout feats that no other past heavyweight have accomplished.

    Such as the following:

    1) Most knockouts over unbeaten opponents

    2) Most knockouts over previously UN-KO'ed opponents

    3) Most knockouts in championship bouts.

    4) Average knockout victim being the heaviest out of any
    past heavyweight's.

    5) Most knockouts in later rounds

These are just a few examples. Either way, the topic was about 'effortless' power punchers and all three of them in my opinion are the most effortless looking power punchers / knockout artists. None of what you stated disproves this notion, at least not for me.

An underwhelming performance but at least he got the job done, I don't know what was harder. Watching this slow fight or listening to Atlas go on & on with his melodramatic routine.

ward couldnt deal with kovalev so hold off on that. sure maybe he digs into his bag of illegal tricks to win but hes already used his headbutt, clinch, low blow, and robbery cards so whats left? rabbit punch? karate kick? bash him over the head with a chair?

Atlas's routine is tired as h--- now. He's an ego maniac who likes to make these commentator jobs about himself and I'm sick of hearing him damean fighters. He's a bitter man at this point.

Why so many people act like Ward is a GOAT?

There is nobody sane that game him the first fight aside them judges... on every media outlet not USS biased at Kovalev.

                Another boxing travesty.

Ward did very well 2nd time around but no way he won 7 rounds in their first fight. No fkn way.

Let me give you guys the real breakdown of what happened in there.

Beterbiev has the most effortless power I've seen maybe ever. He basically backed up a guy using what I estimate to be a quarter of his power. He pumled the guy all fight with a quarter power. And in the final round as soon as he stepped up his pressure, all his opponents could do was ball up and fall down. He could of ended that fight in the exact same fashion in any round.

Artur will destroy the rest of this weight class. And that dude Artur fought was carried. Not to mention Artur walks through punches better than anyone I've seen as well. If you were unimpressed with Artur then you missed a lot.
And the reason he carried him through a boring fight instead of producing a spectacular knockout in his breakout performance on US TV is...?

He would also hit him with the ring post and the ref.

Happened? You used to be funny

Would love to see him fight Bute or Pascal next.
Pascal? Bute? Are you ****ing high? Both of them are done. Why not just have Robert Guerrero move up to 175 instead? Same outcome. Pass. If Beterbiev wants to cherry pick his first defense, it should at least be against someone with live ammunition. Joe Smith Jr, assuming his jaw is healed, is about the least talented guy I would be interested in watching Beterbiev (or Kovalev or Bivol or Ward or any top light heavyweight) fight. Anyone below that, no thanks.
