Wilder has every reason to think he is the best heavyweight in the world.

I am not saying that is true, I am simply saying it is what Deontay should believe.

And if that is so, if he does think he is the best in the world, why would he take anything less than 50/50?

He's watched Hearn offer 7M pounds and go 50/50 with Martin, a guy that couldn't hold his jock.

He's watched Hearn go 50/50 with Wlad, who was over 40, had no belt and was coming off a layoff and a loss.

So why in God's name would he expect anything less than 50/50 wherever the fight is?

Wilders best win was a guy who was a stand in, 20lb overweight, and had been stopped in 2 by an unknown. He's never fought a top ten fighter. Hes never been in a fight against a world class heavy, old or young. He's nothing but a prospect with a padded record.

It looks like you were right unless he changes his mind and agrees to a much lower percent of the money. A 50/50 split is pricing himself out and making it look like he doesn't really want to fight AJ. If he fights AJ and wins then the big paydays will come but right now AJ is the cash cow and Wilder doesn't bring in that much money. Wilder asking for an even split is totally unrealistic and does look like a duck.

i think you got lost in the hypothetical realm. berto did not ask for 50-50 and if he did the fight never would have happened. wilder who said no excuses lets make the fight is now coming up with a bunch of excuses why it cant happen. hes such a loudmouth that he cant help it. if he had kept his 50-50 demands to himself and killed the fight in private he wouldnt look as bad but he just couldnt help it. now hearn doesnt even have to make the fight and can say wilder asked for 50-50 so the fight was dead. very ****** individual. mind bobblin really
